Ingredients
- 2-3 Medium Size Potatoes
- 120 gm All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 tspn Baking Powder
- 1 Big Dollop of Butter
- Salt
- Oil for fry
Instructions
- Start by cutting the potatoes into big pieces and placing them in a bowl of water.
- Now in a pot boil the water along with the potatoes and a little salt.
- Once the potatoes are soft, remove them from the pot, drain all the water and place them in a bowl.
- Mash the potatoes together with butter, baking powder and all-purpose flour.
- Once everything is combined well place the dough on a rolling surface.
- On a lightly floured surface roll the dough to pancake like thickness and cut it into square shapes.
- Heat a pan on medium heat add oil and fry the cakes on both sides until golden brown.
- Once done spread some butter on top and serve hot.
