Gave it a try but I think my conversions failed me, ended up using a cup of flour (roughly 120 grams) and found the texture to be gluey. Not much flavor and a pretty unappealing texture other than the buttery, fried exterior. Left me wanting a hashbrown, which these are not. BUT I will say I think there’s a lot of room for experimentation on this format of potato. Still glad I gave it a try.

Thank you for giving it a try. Sorry to hear that it didn’t turn out successfully. Some potatoes are more watery than others, so it’s better to balance this with a bit of flour. Don’t hesitate to add spices of your choice to get the flavor you like.

    Hi!

Could you make the dough in advance? Like make it the day before and leave it in the fridge to be made the next day? It was delicious, me and my husband just made some!

I just tried the recipe. The texture is nice and bouncey though the taste is a bit bland, maybe more salt or other type of seasoning? I mixed some mayo with ketchup for a little sauce and that made it taste better.
