Air fried snack : Chewy Sweet Potato
If you’re looking for a healthy and chewy snack with minimal ingredients this chewy sweet potato recipe is just perfect. It’s soft, slightly sweet and full of natural flavor. You don’t need flour or eggs, just boiled sweet potato, tapioca starch, black sesame, a little sugar, salt and milk. It comes together easily and cooks beautifully in the air fryer. I love to eat sweet potato no matter how it’s made boiled, in a sandwich, roasted with some spices, mashed or even as fries. I just love it in every form But when I tried this amazing Korean inspired chewy sweet potato snack, it turned out really well.
One thing I noticed though black sesame seeds have a slightly bitter taste and the flavor didn’t feel fully balanced. So I tried the same recipe again but this time i used black onion seeds instead and the taste was amazing. I really liked that version But that doesn’t mean you have to do the same feel free to experiment with spices and seeds based on your taste. Try new things in the kitchen the results are often delicious (not always, but most of the time). Happy Cooking!!

Chewy Sweet Potato (Korean Inspired) Snacks Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 boiled sweet potato
- 3 tbsn tapioca starch
- 1 tspn black sesame seeds
- 1 tspn sugar
- 1/4 tspn salt
- 3 tbsn milk
Instructions
- Boil the sweet potato and in a bowl mash it into a fine paste.2 boiled sweet potato
- Now add black sesame seeds, sugar, salt and milk.3 tbsn tapioca starch, 1 tspn black sesame seeds, 1 tspn sugar, 1/4 tspn salt, 3 tbsn milk
- Now blend everything into a smooth dough.
- Shape the dough however you like round, flat or fun.
- Place it on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Air fry at 170°C for 20 minutes.
