Anyone Can Bake This Bread, Its Easy

I love to experiment in the kitchen. Baking isn’t something I’m an expert at but trying new things always teaches me a lot and most of the time (about 90%) the results turn out amazing. I won’t say 100% because sometimes experiments do fail 😅 but this avocado banana bread? It turned out 110/100 I’m seriously so happy with it.

I Love Avocado

Both me and my husband love avocado. Guacamole is everyone’s favourite either on toast, in wraps or just plain. But my personal favourite way is simply sliced avocado with a pinch of salt. To me avocado tastes a bit like cashew, I don’t know if it’s just me or others feel the same. That’s when I thought what if I mix avocado with banana? Cashew and banana go well so why not?

That’s how this idea popped into my head and I started baking. The result? A creamy, sweet and rich banana bread that we absolutely loved. I only added almonds this time but you can add any seeds or nuts you like they’ll boost both the flavour and the nutrition. This recipe is definitely a must-try and once you do I’m sure you’ll bake it again and again.

Ingredients

  • 1 1 avocado

  • 1 1 ripe banana

  • 1 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup 118.29 ml melted butter

  • 1/2 cup 80 g coconut sugar

  • 1 1/4 cup 156.25 g all purpose flour

  • 1 tspn 1 tspn baking soda

  • 1/2 tspn 1/2 tspn cinnamon powder

  • 1/4 tspn 1/4 tspn salt

  • 1/2 cup 87.5 g dark chocolate chip

  • 2-3 tbsn 2-3 tbsn slice almond

Directions

  • In a bowl mash the avocado and banana together.mash avocado and banana in a bowl
  • Now add egg to the avocado banana mixture and mix well.add egg to mixture and mix well
  • Add butter and sugar to the avocado banana mixture and mix them well.add butter to bread mixtureadd sugar to mixture
  • Now in another bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix them well.mix all dry ingredients together
  • Now add the dry mixture along with chocolate chips and almond into the wet mixture.mix dry ingredients with banana avocado mix
  • Add dark chocolate chips and sliced almonds to mixture and mix well.add chocochips and almonds to bread mixture
  • Mix everything well and pour the mixture into a bread baking pan lined with parchment paperpour into baking pan
  • Sprinkle more chocolate chips and almonds on top.sprinkle more chocochip and almonds over bread nix
  • Bake it in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.freshly backed avocado banana chocochip bread
