Spicy Chicken

Srilankan Devilled Chicken
Ingredients
- 400 gm Chicken Breast
- 3-4 Pod Fine Chopped Garlic
- Thumb Size Julienne Ginger
- 15-20 Curry Leaves
- Salt for Cooking and Marination
- 1 1/2 tspn Black Pepper for Cooking and Marination
- 1 tspn Paprika
- 1 tspn Chili Flakes
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3-4 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 1/2 tspn Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Leak
- 1/2 Cup Onion
- 1 Cup red bell pepper
- 1/2 Cup Tomato
- 4-5 Green Chili
- 1/2 Cup Green Onion
- 1/2 Lemon
- Oil for Frying and Cooking
Instructions
- Start by cutting the chicken into medium size pieces and placing them in a bowl.
- Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika and lemon juice. Mix well, cover and let it rest for an hour.
- Now on medium high heat, fry the chicken until golden and fully cooked.
- In a pan heat oil add garlic, ginger and curry leaves let them roast until golden.
- Add chili flakes, black pepper, soy sauce, ketchup, salt and sugar. Mix well and let it cook for a minute.
- Now add leek, onion and bell pepper then mix everything together.
- Add the fried chicken and tomato, Mix well cover and cook for about 30 seconds more.
- Now add green chili and green onion, cover and cook for a few seconds but do not overcook.
