Ingredients

  • Thumb size Ginger
  • 2 Green Cardamom
  • 2 Clove
  • 5-6 Black Pepper Corn
  • 1 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds
  • Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Cup Water
  • 2 Cup Milk
  • 2 Teaspoon Black Tea (Indian)
  • 2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • Pinch Nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • In a mortar pestle put ginger, green cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, fennel seeds and crush everything together nicely.
  • Now in a saucepan add 2 cups of water along with the crushed spices and let it boil for 5 mins.
  • Now add 2 teaspoons of Indian black tea leaves, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and 2 cups of milk. Let it boil for 5-10 minutes or until it reduces by half. Add a pinch of nutmeg powder and stir occasionally.

Notes

  • You can adjust the quantity of sugar and Black Tea Leaves as per taste, If don’t need very strong tea instead of 2 teaspoon add 1 1/2 teaspoon of Tea Leaves.
