Crispy Fried Omelette

This classic Lebanese omelette is made with just a few simple ingredients. Eggs are mixed with fresh herbs like parsley, mint, and green onions, then cooked until golden and crispy. It’s full of flavor and usually enjoyed with pita bread and some tangy pickles on the side.

This omelette is part of my omelette series. I’m exploring different styles from around the world and this Lebanese one is simple, fresh and full of flavour. Every time I try an omelette from a different place, It amazes me how incredible food can be from every corner of the world and it’s so true unless you try it at least once you’ll never really know how special food from another culture can be.

This Omelette is Different, Its is a Fried One

The Lebanese omelette is totally different from the usual ones. It’s fried in oil, a bit like the Thai omelette but what makes it special is the use of lots of fresh greens and a little bit of flour which adds a nice nutritional touch that I really like. So next time you’re planning to make an omelette for breakfast, I’d suggest giving this recipe a try. It’s a fried version, yes!! but it keeps you full longer and is packed with nutrients.
