Tea is one of the most popular drinks around the world and different countries enjoy it in many different ways. You can find black tea, green tea, herbal tea, milk tea, spiced tea, iced tea and many other varieties. In India, Chai is an important part of everyday life. For many people, the day begins with a hot cup of tea and evening chai is the perfect excuse to relax, talk and enjoy a small snack with family or friends.

Simple Steps To Make Caramel Tea

This caramel chai is especially easy to make at home because it uses simple ingredients and does not need any special equipment. First, the sugar is gently caramelized to create a rich colour and deeper flavor. Then water, black tea, crushed whole spices and milk are added and boiled together until the tea becomes aromatic and beautifully coloured.

To make this saffron caramel tea even more special, I added a few kesar threads at the end. Saffron gives the tea a delicate aroma, a warm golden tone and a luxurious touch. It makes this simple homemade tea feel a little more festive and elegant without making the recipe difficult.
