Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Semolina
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 5 tbsp Ghee / Butter
  • 3 Cup Water
  • Pistachio & almond

Instructions
 

  • Heat a generous amount of ghee or butter in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add semolina to the hot pan and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • In a separate pot add sugar with water and mix them well.
  • Add a cinnamon stick and a handful of soaked almonds to the sugar water and heat until it reaches a full boil.
  • Carefully pour the roasted semolina into the boiling syrup.
  • Stir constantly for 2-3 minutes until the pudding thickens, watching out for hot splatters.
  • Serve warm, topped with extra cinnamon powder (optional), chopped pistachios and remaining soaked almonds.
