Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cup Soaked small Rice
  • 1 Cup Calamari
  • 10-12 Shrimp
  • 1/4 Cup Mussels
  • 1 Cup Boiled Potato cut in Cube Size
  • 1/4 Cup Green Peas
  • 1/2 Big Size Sliced Onion
  • 1 Cup Tomato Puree
  • 3 Pods Chopped Garlic
  • 1 tspn Paprika
  • 1/4 tspn Pepper Powder
  • pinch of Kesar soaked in water
  • 3 Cup Fish Broth
  • 6-7 Green Chilli
  • 1/4 tspn Dry Parsley
  • Salt
  • Oil for Cooking

Instructions
 

  • Arrange all the ingredients in front as it will always make cooking hassle free.
  • Start with sautéing all the seafood one by one on medium low heat for 1–2 minute.
  • In the same pot add more oil, add chopped garlic and sauté until it turns golden in colour.
  • Now add sliced onion along with a little sugar as sugar caramelizes the onion faster.
  • Now add green peas and boiled potato and let them cook for a minute.
  • Add paprika along with salt and pepper and mix them well.
  • Then add tomato puree and let it cook for a few minutes to combine well with the spices.
  • Now add the calamari, soaked rice and saffron water. Mix them well and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  • Add fish broth along with 4–5 green chillies and let it cook until 90% of the water is absorbed.
  • Add shrimp and mussels on top then sprinkle dry parsley over everything.
  • On low heat cover with foil and cook for 12-13 mins. Turn off the heat and wait for at least 15 minutes before removing the foil.
  • Serve hot with lemon wedges along with slices of onion or with your favourite sides.
