This Is Not Very Sweet So Manage Sweetness As per Taste
This lentil banana muffin is perfect for anytime cravings but for me it really goes best with a cup of coffee or tea at breakfast. I didn’t add any sugar in it so it’s not that sweet but I like it the way it is. If you want it a little sweeter you can add sugar, honey or maple syrup as per your choice.
Moderate In Calorie & High In Protein
I always try to add more protein to my daily diet that’s why in this recipe you will get everything protein, carbs and other nutrients. It’s a perfectly balanced breakfast muffin you can say. Calorie wise, it is naturally moderate because there is no added sugar and instead of butter added olive oil. The banana gives natural sweetness and fiber, which helps you feel full for longer. Lentils and peanut butter are plant-based protein that keeps your energy steady. It’s a healthier option compared to regular bakery muffins. Overall, it’s a wholesome and satisfying choice for a guilt-free breakfast or snack.
